Mashal began as a printed newspaper being distributed in market stalls to those who had no hope in life. It now lives on as Mashal-e-Hedayat, an online resource for those seeking to find the Guiding Light. That Light is Jesus Christ, and He is shining on you, to turn your despair into Hope.
Our Story
Who could have known that the printed flyer that went out to those shopkeepers would fan the flames to begin a church of Farsi-speaking individuals in the Former USSR. Mashal was read far and wide as people began to share the message of Hope and Light found in its pages. This message is of course the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He alone can meet the needs of the person who has spent their life looking for salvation. He alone can satisfy the desire for more to this life. Jesus Christ alone can bring healing to the heart that has been brought low by impossible religious standards.
Our desire is that you will find the truth of the Bible through reading Mashal-e-Hedayat. This truth is not merely what others are saying about the Bible or about Jesus Christ. It is the words of the Bible itself. Our prayer is that you will accept God's free gift of salvation. This gift is made possible through Jesus Christ, who is God the Son, made to be a man, crucified for payment for our sin, and was raised back to life through the power of God the Father. Jesus Christ ascended to Heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, and if you accept this gift, He will be advocating for you always before His Father.
